Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-entity clients
- Lead internal controls audits and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop customized financial models and forecasting tools for strategic planning
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during engagements
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like QuickBooks Online and Xero
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and IFRS compliance frameworks
- Expertise in cloud accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite)
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and Power Query
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools
- Ability to manage deadlines in a remote work environment
- Texas CPA license (or actively pursuing with 150 credit hours)
