Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for portfolio clients
- Develop tax strategies and manage federal/state tax filings
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (Power BI, Alteryx)
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query/VBA mastery
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Proven track record in process optimization and automation
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-discipline
