Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (WA, OR, CA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and audit purposes
- Implement process improvements using automation tools
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent HRIS expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, WA labor laws, and tax compliance
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll systems
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or HR-related field preferred
- Experience with union payroll and complex deductions
- Proven problem-solving with 0% payroll error rate
