Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and benefit deductions with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding and timekeeping systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Lead payroll system implementations and process improvements
- Train junior staff on payroll procedures and controls
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in payroll audits
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
