As a key member of our Finance department, you'll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for 500+ employees while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, PA state laws)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/annual tax filings (941, 940, W-2)
- Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on benefits administration and garnishment processing
- Train and mentor junior payroll specialists on system operations and compliance
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience with ADP/SAP systems
- Advanced knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations and tax compliance
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and HRIS reporting tools
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Experience with union payroll processing and collective bargaining agreements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
