Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account-related issues.
- Perform daily cash handling duties, including balancing the cash drawer and reconciling transactions.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements (BSA/AML).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service or banking is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in mathematical calculations.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with banking software and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
