Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle payroll process for over 500 employees, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process payroll via ADP Workforce Now, including timekeeping import, wage calculations, and tax filings.
- Resolve complex payroll discrepancies, garnishments, and deductions efficiently.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax reports (941, 940, W-2s) with the Department of Revenue.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly audits of payroll records and bank reconciliations.
- Provide exceptional support and guidance to employees regarding pay statements, time-off requests, and payroll inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive payroll experience, preferably in a mid-to-large size organization.
- Advanced proficiency in payroll software, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and state-specific labor laws.
- Expert-level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
