Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll for 500+ employees across 15 states ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions with precision
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns in compliance with regulations
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Maintain and improve payroll documentation and procedures
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of federal/state labor laws and tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
