Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FLSA, MI payroll laws)
- Oversee garnishment administration and third-party payment coordination
- Lead payroll audits and reconciliation processes with 99.9% accuracy
- Develop and implement payroll process improvements using automation tools
- Act as primary liaison for payroll inquiries and tax authority communications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM systems
- CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and Michigan payroll regulations
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Excel expertise with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
