Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees with 100% accuracy
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee time and attendance systems including PTO accruals and overtime calculations
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies in real-time
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and new hire onboarding
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Train and mentor junior payroll staff on SOPs and compliance updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM platforms
- Active CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- Proven track record of audit compliance and error resolution
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
