Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage year-end tax filings (W-2, 1099) and quarterly reconciliations
- Administer garnishments, benefits deductions, and union agreements
- Conduct payroll audits and implement internal controls
- Lead payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Train HR staff on payroll policies and procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors during compliance reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent HRIS expertise
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and payroll analytics
- Strong knowledge of federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA)
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Experience with union payroll processing
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR
