Job Summary
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the creditworthiness of our clients and managing risk. You will utilize your expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment to support the lending decisions of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of loan applications, including financial statement review and ratio analysis.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for senior management approval.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, identifying early warning signs of delinquency.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and internal risk policies.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure consistency in lending standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and CRM software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with banking regulations and compliance standards.
