Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Oversee employee benefits administration and 401(k) contributions
- Prepare payroll reports for executive leadership and external audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent HRIS expertise
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax laws and FLSA regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven problem-solving abilities with payroll discrepancies
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Experience with union contracts and collective bargaining agreements
