Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and recommendation reports for senior management
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and identify early warning signs of financial distress
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of credit analysis in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic factors affecting credit decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial information
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a part-time capacity
