Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations with 100% accuracy
- Oversee payroll audits and compliance with federal/state labor regulations
- Develop and implement payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Act as primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolutions
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on compensation strategy and reporting
- Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Excel
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven error prevention record
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with payroll system conversions and implementations
