Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy across multiple payers
- Investigate and resolve billing denials and claim rejections within SLAs
- Perform account reconciliations for complex insurance contracts
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Train staff on updated billing protocols and payer requirements
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for billing efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential preferred
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic and Athena EMR platforms
- Strong analytical skills for identifying billing trends
- Excellent communication for resolving payer disputes
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines in fast-paced environment
