Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage patient billing accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
- Analyze accounts receivable reports to optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve claim denials
- Implement billing process improvements using Epic EMR systems
- Prepare monthly revenue cycle performance metrics
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in NYC healthcare
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBSP) credentials preferred
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 forms
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Medisoft
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
- Experience with RCM analytics tools (e.g., QSI)
