Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage year-end tax filings (941, 940, W-2) with 100% accuracy
- Oversee garnishment processing and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Implement payroll audits and internal controls for SOX compliance
- Coordinate with HR on benefits administration and 401(k) contributions
- Lead system upgrades and process optimization initiatives
- Train payroll team on new regulations and technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Deep knowledge of CA, federal, and multi-state payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred
- Experience with garnishment and tax compliance
- Proven ability to lead process improvement projects
- BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
