Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and metrics to provide actionable insights for executive leadership
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and budgetary frameworks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with executive summaries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and investment decisions
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct variance analysis and root cause investigations for budget deviations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or investment environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction initiatives
- Knowledge of California-specific financial regulations and reporting requirements
