Responsibilities
- Process and distribute accurate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for 200+ employees
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and timekeeping integration
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with employees and departments
- Prepare year-end reports (W-2s, 1099s) and assist with payroll-related audits
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and leave tracking
- Maintain confidential employee payroll records and ensure data security
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of CA wage laws, FLSA, and multi-state payroll compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume payroll cycles
- Excellent communication skills for employee inquiries and audits
