Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with strict compliance to CA labor laws
- Conduct quarterly and annual reconciliations for 401(k), FSA, and tax filings
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding and timekeeping system integrations
- Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements using data analytics
- Serve as primary contact for payroll inquiries from employees and external auditors
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now or comparable HCM platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- Deep knowledge of CA, federal, and local payroll regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven ability to resolve complex payroll discrepancies with minimal supervision
