Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely payroll for bi-weekly pay cycles using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, wage garnishments, and compliance with federal/state labor laws
- Oversee employee benefits administration including 401(k), health insurance, and HSA deductions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with general ledger
- Develop and maintain payroll policies ensuring SOX compliance
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll-related terminations
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of CA labor laws and FLSA regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with SAP HR modules and Excel VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to manage confidential employee data
