Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities using advanced Excel modeling and SQL databases
- Develop comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets, and variance reports for executive leadership
- Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling for M&A activities, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives
- Create executive-ready dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis processes
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead monthly close activities and provide analytical support for quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate finance or investment banking
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VBA, advanced functions) and financial modeling software
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation from enterprise systems
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive audiences
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
