Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports with risk mitigation recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early warning signs of financial distress
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal lending solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations (GAAP, FFIEC) and compliance requirements
- Present complex financial analyses clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements in credit risk assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or equivalent professional designation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with credit underwriting for commercial real estate and corporate lending
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
