Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow data for loan applicants.
- Evaluate creditworthiness and risk profiles to make informed lending recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and recommendation reports for the Credit Committee.
- Maintain and update borrower credit files in the loan origination system.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early warning signs of deterioration.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and banking standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in credit analysis or financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
