We're seeking a meticulous Senior Payroll Clerk to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our diverse client portfolio. Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions for tax levies, child support, and 401(k) contributions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with banking institutions
- Generate quarterly tax filings (941, 940) and year-end W-2 forms
- Implement new client payroll setups and system upgrades
- Conduct internal payroll audits for compliance with FLSA and state regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent SaaS platform expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Washington State Payroll Tax Specialist certification
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and state labor laws
- Experience with garnishment calculations and compliance
