Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings across California and federal jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain confidential payroll records in compliance with FLSA and CCPA
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Stay current on California labor laws and payroll regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Expert knowledge of CA labor laws, FLSA, and tax regulations
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven attention to detail with zero-error processing history
- Experience with garnishment administration and wage attachments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
