Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee all bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for night shift employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- System Management: Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks and Excel, ensuring data integrity and security.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure high accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently.
