Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models and variance analyses to support capital allocation decisions
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles for executive stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis for new investment opportunities
- Design and implement process improvements for financial forecasting accuracy
- Manage cross-functional budgeting processes across 5+ business units
- Present complex financial insights to C-suite leadership with actionable recommendations
- Maintain compliance with SOX 404 controls and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in regulated industries
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements and GAAP standards
- Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic business insights
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholder experience
- Experience in renewable energy or ESG financial analysis highly desirable
