Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Analyze market trends and performance metrics to inform strategic investment decisions
- Prepare executive-level presentations with actionable insights and visualizations
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and reporting systems
- Conduct due diligence for M&A opportunities and partnership evaluations
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and financial reporting standards
- Mentor junior analysts to develop team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven track record of developing accurate financial forecasts and models
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
- Experience in Chicago's financial markets strongly preferred
