Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth variance analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to identify trends and explain variances.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual operating budgets and monitor budget vs. actual performance.
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial planning role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.
