Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for key business units.
- Perform detailed variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecast, providing clear narratives to management.
- Develop complex financial models to support capital budgeting, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives.
- Present financial data and strategic recommendations to executive leadership through clear, compelling presentations and dashboards.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools (Power BI/Tableau) is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- CFA or CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business strategy.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
