Responsibilities
- Process and post nightly journal entries and financial transactions to ensure accurate daily records.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements nightly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute nightly financial reports to management and key stakeholders.
- Manage the high-volume processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the month-end close process by providing timely data summaries.
- Review invoices for accuracy, compliance, and coding before payment processing.
- Ensure all financial data is securely backed up and accessible for the day team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in high-volume data.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
