Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliation of key accounts
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and SOX compliance
- Create financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement documentation
- Coordinate cross-departmental financial reporting for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting research (ASC, IFRS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and variance analysis
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial concepts
- Experience managing SOX 404 compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Proven track record of process optimization in accounting operations
