Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Oversee the monthly payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely weekly disbursements.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, including tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
