Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Process payroll entries and support timekeeping activities.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payment status.
- Support the senior accountant with data entry and basic financial analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of math and accounting principles (training provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Reliable computer access and high-speed internet connection.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
