Responsibilities
- Manage complex multi-currency accounts payable/receivable cycles with high-volume transaction processing
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis for executive leadership
- Lead month-end/quarter-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel functions and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during compliance reviews
- Maintain internal controls documentation and SOX compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and ERP system mastery
- Proven experience with high-volume transaction processing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial data interpretation
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting across departments
