Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead financial audits and ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial data
- Experience with remote work tools and self-management in virtual environments
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
