Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports and variance analysis for management.
- Process payroll transactions accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Review and audit financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- CPA certification or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
