Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous reconciliation procedures
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Manage tax preparation processes and liaise with external auditors during annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders
- Proven track record of process improvement and deadline management
