Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Compliance & Audit: Assist in external and internal audits, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, resolve discrepancies, and perform month-end close procedures in a timely manner.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting process by analyzing variances and providing recommendations for financial optimization.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior accountants and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA/CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting and general ledger management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of US tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
