Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the monthly and annual closing processes to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
- Preparing and analyzing complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure liquidity and vendor satisfaction.
- Conducting variance analysis and presenting findings to the finance leadership team.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
