Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee SOX compliance documentation and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and KPI reporting
- Lead process improvements using accounting automation tools
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Support external audits and tax compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Strong understanding of SOX 404 and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
