Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
