Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX adherence
- Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting systems and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder reporting
