Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment for commercial and consumer loan applications.
- Review and interpret financial statements, tax returns, and collateral documentation to determine borrower capacity.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and formal recommendations for loan committees.
- Monitor account performance and identify early warning signs of default or delinquency.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and internal lending policies.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and financial analysis tools.
- Collaborate with the lending team to structure complex financing solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
