Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and creditworthiness of corporate clients
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and recommend credit limits/structures
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of financial distress
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic credit policy enhancements
- Present findings to credit committees with data-driven recommendations
- Ensure compliance with federal banking regulations and internal risk frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Expertise in evaluating S&P/LBO transactions and industry risk trends
- Strong understanding of FASB/IFRS accounting standards
- Proven track record of managing high-value credit portfolios ($50M+)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex analyses
