Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports with recommendations for loan approval/modification
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and internal credit policies
- Present complex financial findings to credit committees
- Support portfolio management through regular risk assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Experience with credit scoring systems and risk assessment tools
- Deep understanding of GAAP and credit underwriting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA) preferred
