Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate credit applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare and present detailed credit memos and risk assessments to the credit committee.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain and update customer credit files and internal databases with the most current information.
- Assist in the development of credit policies and procedures to improve risk management.
- Communicate with clients and internal departments to resolve credit-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
