Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for investment committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Develop financial models to project default probabilities and recovery scenarios
- Ensure compliance with federal lending regulations and internal policies
- Present complex financial findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or finance
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Series 7, 63, and/or 24 licenses highly desirable
- Proven track record of managing complex credit portfolios
